The word vitamin originally came from the words vital and amine. Vitamins are vital resource required for life and were originally thought to be amines. Although no all vitamins are amines, all natural vitamins are an organic food substance found only in living things that is humans, animals and plants. With very little exception the human body cannot manufacture or synthesize vitamins. We must be supplied with vitamins through out diets or in dietary supplements. Vitamins are essential elements for the normal functioning of our bodies. It is a necessarily for our growth, vitality, and general well being.

Many people think vitamins can be replaced by food, but in fact vitamins cannot be assimilated without ingesting food. That is why it is suggested taking then with a meal. Vitamins intake can help regulate metabolism. It can also help to convert fat and carbohydrates into energy and to assist in forming strong bones and tissues. If we lack in a certain compound which is considered as a vitamin in our diet it overt the symptoms of deficiency.

We all obtain our vitamins from food or dietary supplement in order for us to sustain a health life and it is virtually impossible to sustain a life without all the essential vitamins. Without vitamins our bodies would not be able to function probably. Our body cannot internally manufacture vitamins without the intake of fresh fruit, vegetables and meat. Vitamins are not energy pill and they have no energetic or caloric values and they cannot be used as a substitute the human required intake of protein, carbohydrates, fat or any other nutrient with vitamins.

Without vitamins the human body would not be able to survive. It easy to say “it is vital for us to have all vitamins in order to live a long and healthy life”, but the fact is sufficient quantities of vitamins are contained in the food we eat, but in some cases there are deficiency.
